  • Snow in Woodbury

    // June 26th, 2007

    My new piece… It is titled “Snow in Woodbury”. Printed in 3 pieces and each piece is 20″ X 30″ in size. It will be frameless. The photo was taken in March 2006. I was out trying to take a picture of a tree in the middle of the lake. This was the better picture.

    Leaving San Francisco… But before I did that, we visited Muir Woods National Forest. It was an interesting drive – ZOOM ZOOM! Took a long time but we finally got there without paying any tolls!

    Leaving Las Vegas

    // June 14th, 2007

    Leaving Las Vegas. Drove through the desert after 9.5 hours of driving, we made it to Folsom.

    The one thing that really stood out on this drive was the amazing Wind Power farm out in Mojave that I was fascinated by. It’s great that we’re down the path of renewable energy. I think more can be done with it but that’s a different topic of discussion.

    Day 2 started a little slow. After breakfast, we started driving towards Arches National Park as that’s our new destination instead of Grand Canyon – given the limited time we had.

    Out on the Deck

    When I built my deck, my friends told me that I’d spend more time working on it than enjoying it. So, I’ve spent about the equivalent of 24 hours working on staining it the last few weeks and today, I’ve spent the last few hours on the deck, just being around people I like. All good times. Relaxing and totally worth it…

    It’s Back!

    // June 8th, 2007

    I ran a WordPress site for over a year and it worked out good while I had it. It gave me the ability to dynamically add photo albums to show off my photography. While effective, it was not an effective way to show off my portfolio. At the same time, there was a crossover between some personal posts and portfolio related items and it was unprofessional.
