I was watching the music video: The Story by Brandi Carlile and it made me think about a few things. For one, the lyrics is beautiful. Then it made me think if I could ever be in that place. I’m definitely cautious about getting there again.
The next thing on my mind is, when will I start to get back into the music photography again? I need to get motivated and excited again.
Life begins with joy, moves through with happiness and sorrows. Where we are and where we get to depends on the things we encounter through our lives.
I am at a junction where I’m trying to understand the rights and wrongs, the good and the bad – the true meaning of life, mine.
This junction that I’m at is a common feeling. I’ve been here before, when things come to a stop. Where you come to decide if you’re truly happy with life. Truth is, this junction is another stop that I make, on my way to my final destination. Looking left and looking right, I don’t see what I’m looking for. All I see is another road that leads to more questions, one that could be winding or one that could be just gravel.
I’m here now, tired but eager to find the destination. Where will this next turn take me?
At some point in the last few weeks, I’ve felt scared. There has been a lot of changes in my life lately. In a way, it’s like starting a brand new life in a brand new city. Fortunately it’s less scary than that. I still have my friends and my way of life. At least that part of my life I don’t have to figure out.
On my last day at work a few weeks ago, I remembered asking myself if I made the right decision. I think it’s supposed to be a good feeling knowing that you want to be sure about the life decisions that you make. It is a job but it is also a place and a means of livelihood, a way of life. You spend enough time at work and it should be something that you enjoy doing.
