Who I Am
I bring a little of everything. I’m good at what I do best – be myself. I put 110% into everything that I like. Yes, I do like a lot of different things. I’m an engineer – so I’ve got the anally retentive trait. I like to think that I’m detailed.
I’ve got a lot of the creativity in me – I’m a photographer. I have a great portfolio of photos that I’ve taken. I photograph weddings in the summer, my travels, and people.
My Personality
I am a Gemini and I believe in that there’s 2 side to who I am. I have the creative side in me and I am proud about where I have gone with my photography. I am able to express myself through the pictures that I’ve taken and I have been able to capture the people that I work with.
The other side of me is the technical side of me. I can talk about computers, technology, programming, vision systems all day long.
What I Do
I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Tech. So, yes, I’m officially a geek. After Michigan Tech, I started working for OakRiver Technology, a company in Oakdale, Minnesota that provides custom automation equipment. My areas of expertise are in high precision robotics, vision systems and software development.

Influences
For the longest time, I love the work of Anton Corbijn as a photographer and video director. I like the mood and the simplicity that he shows. His images of people are amazing.
Another photographer that I started to appreciate is Frank Wartenberg. His photographs of people inspire me to create unique looking setups, props for my people photography.
